Carlos Micháns is a passionate collector of art and beautiful objects, with a weakness for man's less known, spiritual means of expression. His collections comprise antique European books, drawings, engravings and paintings, but also Asian art and manuscripts.

Thanks to his many travels he has become acquainted with other cultures. Besides India, which has had a strong influence on him, the culture and religions of Tibet and Mongolia have also captured his attention.
