Although Carlos Micháns' compositions, literary works and collections are central to the goals of Kaleidos, the Foundation also wishes to provide a small podium which may allow different disciplines to come together, with an accent on music and visual arts. Cd-productions and other projects involving Carlos Micháns' music are also supported by the Foundation.

The activities of Kaleidos comprise private house-concerts (at the Foundation's address in Utrecht) by well-known professional musicians, presentations on different subjects in the field of art and culture, and exhibitions of sections of the collections.

Since 2012, Kaleidos is also active in France, thanks to collaboration with local persons and institutions interested in organising and sponsoring concerts (by mainly Dutch musicians) and (art) exhibitions.

As from 2019, Kaleidos collaborates with the Centre Culturel Arteméum in Langres (France), created by Carlos Micháns and Marcel Peek.
